Kayla grew up immersed in the world of dogs and has spent more than 15 years gaining hands-on experience in breeding, showing, grooming, and animal care. As a second-generation part of Amayla Kennels, she helps oversee the day-to-day operations while continuing the standard of care her family built the kennel around. Whether she’s caring for pets, working with clients, or behind the scenes keeping everything running smoothly, Kayla’s goal is simple: to make every pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while they’re with us.
Josh Washnesky
Groomer
Josh’s career with dogs began in the dog show world, where he developed an eye for detail, proper coat care, and presentation. He brings that experience to the grooming table at Amayla Kennels, providing thoughtful, individualized care for every pet he works with. From a simple bath and tidy-up to a full groom, Josh focuses on helping each pet look and feel their best while keeping their comfort a priority.

As our Kennel Manager, Kaylee helps keep each day at Amayla Kennels running smoothly while making sure every pet receives the attention and care they deserve. From overseeing daily routines and coordinating our kennel team to getting plenty of hands-on time with our guests, Kaylee is dedicated to creating a safe, comfortable, and happy stay for every pet that comes through our doors.
